Three Bed | Two Bath
In the grounds of the château, this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has uninterrupted views of the gardens.
The beautiful walled garden is scattered with large, shady oaks and limes. Within it you will find rolling lawns perfect for a game of croquet, a swimming pool and our beautiful free-ranging peacock with his hareem of hens (their organic eggs, when available, are given to guests). There are also five active bee colonies producing our delicious estate honey and beeswax used to polish the antique furniture. A heavily-scented, formal rose garden sits opposite the front door and you also have access to the 10-acre truffle orchard.
The interior of the Stables has been furnished to the highest standard, combining artwork and antiques with beautiful fabrics and vintage finds: think atmospheric and characterful but with all the mod cons. All bathrooms feature Lefroy Brooks showers.
